Treating Yourself this Christmas
The holidays are a time for giving, but that doesn’t mean you can’t treat yourself, too. From gifts to gestures, we’ve curated a list of ways you can give back to yourself this season.
Take Yourself Out
While you probably like to spend some time with family and friends around the holidays, don’t be afraid to take a solo-outing every once in a while. It could be something as simple as driving past some Christmas lights on your way home, to something as extravagant as getting a holiday-inspired mani-pedi.
Decorate Your Space
Take a look around your local stores, like Target, TJ Maxx, HomeGoods, or even the dollar store for some festive decorations to spruce up your space. Grab a wreath for your door, some ornaments for your tree, and maybe some mistletoe to hang down your hallway. You can also pick up some room spray as a final touch (sugar cookies, pine, and other scents).

When you’re running around trying to find the perfect gift for everyone this year, it can be easy to leave yourself out of the mix. Take a few minutes to reflect on some things you’ve had on your list for a while, and if they’re within your budget, splurge on one or two of them. Whether it’s a new pair of shoes, a magazine subscription, or something else to make your season brighter.
