How to Manifest Your Dream Life

So, what is manifestation? Put simply, manifestation is the process of using your mindset and beliefs to attract something tangible into your life. The idea is that the thoughts and hopes you put out into the world affect what comes into your life.

You might be wondering what the benefits of manifestation are. With manifestation, you can attract basically anything into your life- love, money, a dream job, even your soulmate. Below is a breakdown of how to properly manifest.

Start by figuring out what your dreams/goals are. Do you want a promotion at work? Are you single and trying to meet someone? Are you wanting to take a nice vacation? Once you decide on a few goals, write them down in a journal or on a piece of paper. The next step entails working towards your goals and coming up with steps to help you reach those goals. Now you might be thinking, “Wait, if I put these thoughts out into the universe, why do I still need to put in all this work?” Basically, you can’t (unfortunately) just write out your intentions, sit back, and wait for the universe to respond. Wishing alone will not get you far. For example, if you write “get a job” as your goal but don’t apply to any jobs, you won’t be able to manifest getting hired out of thin air. Manifestation should be used in accompaniment with working towards your goals.

After writing out your goals and coming up with a plan to put in the work, you should focus on altering your mindset. If you focus on positivity and gratitude, you are more likely to attract positive changes into your life. This is easier said than done, so a good starting point is incorporating positive affirmations into your life. Write or recite statements like “I am strong and determined” and “I have a lot to be grateful for” to help spark positivity and gratitude. Lastly, be patient and keep an open mind when manifesting. If something you’ve been manifesting doesn’t work out, do not give up on manifestation (or yourself, for that matter). A helpful quote is “what’s meant for me will never miss me,” meaning there is a reason that a particular opportunity passed you by and it was not the right one for you.

Here are a few ways you can seamlessly integrate manifestation into your daily routine:
