There are so many aspects of our favorite musician we admire, from their voice to their stage presence to their outfits. For this article, Clique conducted research on five popular artists’ styles, assigning a fashion trend to each artist. Wondering what trend you should try out based on your favorite artist? Taylor Swift = a chunky knit cardigan

Every Swiftie remembers when Taylor released the iconic song “Cardigan” back in the summer of 2020. She even sold limited-edition cream-colored knit cardigans on her website. Therefore, you must try out the chunky knit sweater trend if you are a major Taylor fan. Shop on Etsy for a handmade, one-of-a-kind cardigan, or check out stores like Free People and H&M for a timeless cardigan that will match any item in your wardrobe.

Harry Styles = a patterned jumpsuit

jumpsuits. Harry loves a good jumpsuit, especially if it is colorful and textured. We recommend fully committing to the trend by styling a colorful, sequined one. Harry always stands out with his outfits, and you shouldn’t be afraid to do the same!

Billie Eilish = layered necklaces

Billie is the queen of sporty looks and baggy silhouettes, but the trend we’ve decided to associate with her is layered necklaces. This jewelry choice really adds some dimension and uniqueness to her outfits. Billie is a big fan of silver jewelry, but don’t be afraid to mix and match silver and gold necklaces. Grab 4-5 of your favorite necklaces you have lying around and layer them for a Billie-inspired look.

Justin Bieber = beanies

Justin, like Billie, enjoys oversized t-shirts and baggy clothing. Justin’s go-to accessory, however, is a beanie. If you’ve been a fan since “Baby,” or even if you just started listening to Justin’s music this year, try out the fashion trend of wearing a beanie. Look to Justin for style inspiration. Sometimes he pairs a beanie with a jean jacket and sneakers for a streetwear look; other times he styles a beanie in unexpected ways, such as pairing a hot pink hat with an oversized suit.

Olivia Rodrigo = bows

Olivia Rodrigo loves to experiment with trends, so choosing a single fashion trend was not easy. She has rocked colorful hair clips, corsets, and the crochet trend. Perhaps the most unique trend she’s sported, and the one we’ve chosen for this article, is bows. We are not talking about the 2016 JoJo Siwa bows, but rather bow detailing on clothing. For example, Olivia donned a little black dress featuring a large green bow across the chest when she won “Songwriter of the Year” at the ASCAP Pop Music Awards back in April of this year. Take inspiration from Olivia’s look and fasten an oversized bow onto one of your going out dresses.
