“My favorite part is the moment when you receive a lyric or melody that perfectly embodies the emotion you’re feeling. There is really no way to put into words how magical that feels.”

CLIQUE: As a singer/songwriter what is your favorite part of the process when you are making music?

TAYLOR: Ooo! My favorite part is the moment when you receive a lyric or melody that perfectly embodies the emotion you’re feeling. There is really no way to put into words how magical that feels.

CLIQUE: How is releasing this single different from releasing your past EP, Dead Flowers?

TAYLOR: Not Gonna Wait” was one of the first songs written after I created “Dead Flowers.” so this single feels like a final goodbye to that heartache.

CLIQUE: How is this stage in music different from Dead Flowers?

TAYLOR: This music reflects how I feel in life…happier and more peaceful than the melancholy nature of “Dead Flowers.”

CLIQUE: Who do you hope to collaborate with one day on a song?

TAYLOR: Lady Gaga has always been such an inspiration for me since I was young. The way she disrupts her music with her fearlessness; she is definitely a dream collaborator for me.

CLIQUE: How do you feel TikTok has changed the music industry for people wanting to release music?
