Trendy Hairstyles to Elevate Your Look, That You Might Want to Try

I know that styling your hair can be hard, that you might not know what hairstyle to pick each day, or it can feel like a chore. I know that it can be hard to choose an interesting hairstyle, and you might resort to leaving your hair down or throwing it up into a ponytail. Personally, I

feel like doing your hair everyday should be something exciting, where you can experiment with ways to style it, or even just add some fun accessories to amp up your look! I’ve decided to come up with a list of trendy hairstyles, to inspire you, and hopefully that you might want to try out. Keep scrolling for some inspiration to mix it up when it comes to styling your hair.

1. A Simple Blowout

To begin with, I figured I’d start off with something easy and simple. If you're a girl who prefers to keep their hair down the majority of the time, this style might be for you. By giving your hair a blowout, it allows for easy maintenance and a simple look. You can achieve this look with a blowdryer and a round brush, and for more volume add curlers right after blow drying. This look just gives a bit more volume and shape, rather than pin-straight hair.

2. Small Braids

Another simple way to amp up your hair while still keeping it down is by adding braids. Adding small braids into your hair requires less effort but still adds some different textures to your hair.

There are also multiple ways to add braids, like just taking small strands at the side of your head, or adding mini french braids at the top of your head to pull back your face-framing pieces.

3. Bubble Braids

A great way to add volume and texture to your hair is through a style called “Bubble Braids”. Instead of a normal braid, you can take a strand of hair and create tufted sections using small hair ties. This adds more volume to your look and looks like you put a lot of effort into doing your hair, but the best part is that this is a fairly simple style to try out! (Another plus is that you can put all your hair in the “braids” for ponytails or just keep your hair down and natural).

4. Hair beads & Clips

One more idea to add something interesting to your hair is to include accessories! This is a great idea for the girls who aren’t fans of ponytails or buns! You can add hair beads to braids or strands of your hair to keep it interesting. Another accessory is to add clips to pull back the front pieces of your hair! You can even switch out the clips for cute hair ties, and section and pull back the front pieces for a similar look!

5. Half-Up , Half-Down

With this hairstyle, there are so many ways to make it your own. You can add hair clips, buns, braids and so much more. My personal favorite for this look is to add a claw clip to pull some hair back. You can also create a messy bun, cute pigtails, or a ponytail at the top of your head! This style is so versatile and can cater to your favorite ways to put up your hair.

6. Space Buns

This style is for the girls who want a messier-style hairdo, that want to keep their hair up! For this hairstyle, you can choose to do high or low buns, or even however many buns you want to.

Personally, I like to do two low buns, but you can choose whichever frames your face the best! For a messier look, do loose buns with hair spiking out, and pull out some face framing pieces!

7. Messy-Updos

For the girls who love to have their hair up, these style ideas are for you. There are many ways to style your hair while keeping it out of your face. You don’t always have to put your hair into a bun or ponytail. One way to elevate a high bun is to create a cool middle part, like having a zig-zag design! Instead of a plain high ponytail, add braids or bubble braids (however many of your choosing).
